The Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC) is recruiting student leaders for the 2024-2025 academic year. We are seeking self-motivated, accountable, professional leaders! We are currently searching for the following positions:
- AIRR (American Indian Recruitment & Retention) - *3 POSITIONS AVAILABLE*: (1) Outreach Coordinator (1) Administrative Coordinator (1) Retention coordinator
- SAFE (Southeast Asians Furthering Education) - *1 POSITION AVAILABLE*: (1) Administrative Coordinator
Essential Job Details
- $16.50 hourly rate
- 12-15 hours per week; flexible schedule; remote work available during the pandemic
- 3 quarter commitment: Fall, Winter, Spring
- SRRC All Staff Formation (September 16th-20th, in-person, all day training)
- Must participate in training with student and career staff throughout Fall Quarter and the academic year.
- Participate in Monthly In-Services, and weekly staff meetings (during the academic year)
- Supported & advised by SRRC career staff & Student Directors
- All scholar staff at the SRRC are required to abide by policies and procedures set by UC Davis and written in the SRRC Staff Manual
Qualifications
- Previous experience working or volunteering with the SRRC preferred
- Awareness of, and sensitivity to, issues specific to communities represented by the SRRC
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Dependable and motivated
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- A background check and TB test are required due to the possibility of working with minors
- Transportation may be necessary for recruitment coordinator roles. A valid driver's license is highly recommended, but not required to apply for recruitment positions as long as you have alternative travel options.
