The Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC) is recruiting graduate and undergraduate student leaders for the 2024-2025 academic year. We are currently searching for the following positions:
- Graduate Student Director / RROC Representative (Graduate Student position)
- Graduate Student Retention Coordinator (Graduate Student position)
- Pathways to Graduate School Coordinator (Undergraduate position)
- Administrative Coordinator (Undergraduate position)

TWO GRADUATE STUDENT POSITIONS: 1 GAAAP Student Director / RROC Representative, 1 Graduate Student Retention Coordinator
- Salary Range: Graduate Assistantship Salary Range: $30-34 DOE
- Tuition Fellowship included (Fee remission is limited to in-state fees)
- 19.5 hours per week, must be available Friday mornings for RROC board meetings
- Time commitment: 1 academic year (September to June)
- Participate in a Graduate Studies Orientation, meet with the Graduate Student Success Collective, and partner with Graduate Studies and Graduate Student Association
TWO UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT POSITIONS: 1 Pathway to Graduate School Coordinator, 1 Administrative Coordinator
- $16.50 hourly rate
- 12-15 hours per week; flexible schedule; remote work available during the pandemic
- 3 quarter commitment: Fall, Winter, Spring
All Position Requirements:
- New staff orientation, Spring Formation, and All Staff Formation - dates TBD
- SRRC All Staff Formation (September 16th-20th, in-person, all day training)
- Must participate in training with student and career staff throughout Fall Quarter and the academic year.
- Participate in Monthly In-Services, weekly staff meetings (during the academic year)
- Supported & advised by SRRC career staff & Student Directors
- All scholar staff at the SRRC are required to abide by policies and procedures set by UC Davis and written in the SRRC Staff Manual
Qualifications
- Must be a registered graduate/professional/undergraduate student in good academic standing making progress towards a degree throughout service.
- Extensive knowledge of the campus resources that support graduate students and/or college students.
- Previous experience working with, volunteering, or participation with the SRRC preferred
- Awareness of, and sensitivity to, issues specific to communities represented by the SRRC
- Demonstrated commitment to the retention of all graduate students.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Experience planning and coordinating events/activities.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Dependable and motivated
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and technological experience for word processing, e-mail communication, and social media.
- Background check and TB test is required due to thepossibility of working with minors
- Transportation may be necessary. A valid driver's license is highly recommended
- Work authorization required
